Let me introduce the two main bloggers on student issues:
Kristen Huth, the SND president of Penn State’s student chapter;
Mary Franke, production manager and chief designer for Virginia Commonwealth University’s student publications. She is also a photojournalist, page designer and former associate editor with work experience at The Times-Dispatch, The (Hanover) Herald-Progress, The (Elkhart, IN) Truth and The (Lynchburg) News & Advance.
She oversees all student work and serves as the professional sounding board to the completely independent Student Media Center (all publications operate without any prior review by administration or faculty.
